Tara’s journey in Vanga started April 2018. Her days can be very long, as a nurse midwife covering three health centers. Tara is also an educator in the midwifery program, helping to facilitate the Stage de Perfectionement (Final Internship Rotation) at the clinic.
The night was dark and stormy. August is still the dry season, but a tropical electrical storm accompanied by lots of wind was bearing down on Kikongo.
