Not long ago we received the 2017 “White Cross” shipment. There were loads of rolled bandages, gloves, suture, gauze, uniforms, and infant blankets.

But not for good! The Literacy Program at Sofia Baptist Church wrapped up the 2016-17 school year in mid-June with a week of fun activities. One day was a time for the children to demonstrate the skills they had learned during the year.

How God works is mysterious! There is no one like Him and no one can predict His ways.

I wish you could have been there! I (Ann) was blessed to be part of the first International Missions Conference organized by the Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches and Swatow Baptists in June. The conference was held in Hong Kong where approximately 200,000 Filipinas work, primarily as domestic servants.

A last minute confirmed date of a graduation being held at Dali University, Yunnan, China, changed my international travel plans. In that new travel plan – to Nepal to China and back to Nepal – three “Before and Now” stories remain vividly in my mind.

For the longest time I prayed to have a heart for the world. Looking back on my past four years in college, I can see God working to answer my prayer.
