IM introduces our newest associate missionary and the fourth global servant currently serving in Japan. He will focus on ministries of discipleship and education.

Do you serve yourself, or do you serve others, and what is your motivation? Let’s try to “hit ni are hush sego” according to Nita Bryan, who is on a short-term mission assignment at Kanto Gakuin University.

Our God, who led the Covells to the Philippines, is faithful. This story seems to end in tragedy. But from the blood of the martyrs, CPBC has blossomed to 1000 churches in the Philippines, along with a rebuilt Central Philippine University, Filamer Christian University, Iloilo Mission Hospital, and Capiz Emmanuel Mission Hospital.

Gordon and Lee Ann are serving in Yokohama, Japan. Gordon exercises gifts of service and hospitality. He hosts a weekly fellowship meeting in their home. Lee Ann works full-time as an English conversation teacher for junior and senior high students at Soshin Girls’ School.

The Japan Squad mission was to learn about Japanese people and culture, experience life with Japanese Christians, and help with ministry to the Japanese people. From our experience with them, I know they did these things and much more! Many prayers were answered and I can say, “Mission accomplished!”
