In October of 2016 a humanitarian crisis began in Tijuana with the arrival of thousands of Haitian and African refugees, seeking asylum in the USA. Baptist churches in Tijuana responded in remarkable ways, a powerful witness indeed.

The Literacy Program at Sofia Baptist Church started their new school year in September with 12 children attending.

After years of dreaming and planning, Coffeeology opened on October 12th in Sofia, Bulgaria.

After 18 years since our arrival to work as International Ministries global servants in Thailand, we are moving back to the United States next month. Chuck has tendered his resignation from IM and will be stepping into a new role as senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the middle of October. Ruth is in conversation with IM regarding the possibility of a role with IM that will utilize her experiences in Thailand/Asia and allow her to continue responding to her call to ministry.

Thanks to your generous donations, the kitchen project at the Serbian Baptist Church is starting to come together! Pastor Zoltán Nyúl prays this kitchen will help the church serve the community for years to come.
