Our God, who led the Covells to the Philippines, is faithful. This story seems to end in tragedy. But from the blood of the martyrs, CPBC has blossomed to 1000 churches in the Philippines, along with a rebuilt Central Philippine University, Filamer Christian University, Iloilo Mission Hospital, and Capiz Emmanuel Mission Hospital.

God knew the time, the season, the people and the land which His mission field was predestined to give birth to Righteous Leadership through Rev. Dr. Ray & Teri Charles, Special Assistants to Europe, Middle East & Liberia.

As I began my mission service with International Ministries, the pastor of my Mission Partnership Team gave me a framed copy of “Aidan’s Mantel.” This call and challenge has hung over my desk until now.

Carlos and Mayra have been used by God in discipleship formation and training in churches in Chile, Spain and Nicaragua. UNIBAUTISTA has invited them to continue this work with ethnic groups in one of the most neglected areas of Colombia, the Guajira Northern Region.
