Gordon & Lee Ann Hwang

GORDON and LEE ANN are serving Oasis Chapel in Rifu, Japan, to reach families for Christ. They are continuing the English Café ministry, an English conversation class using Bible stories. God has brought together church members who are being trained to lead the ministry. The Hwangs host BBQs at the church’s Morigo campground and support the campers and volunteers who come to use the facilities. They are meeting with moms of young children to share Biblical principles for parenting. They are actively befriending their neighbors and introducing them to church members through shared meals. Lee Ann cultivates a demonstration “no-till” garden for economic development in this rural area. God is using it to develop friendships.
