Technology made it possible for the Home office staff at IM, and Special Assistants to STM to visit the First Baptist Church in America in Rhode Island and global servants in Massachusetts while the staff from the Short-Term Mission desk was on the road. “OTR with STM” (On The Road with Short-Term Mission) was launched!

Building relationships from Michigan to Haiti has been a passion for Lynne Punnett, Special Assistant to Short-Term Mission and Special Missions Consultant to the ABC Michigan region.

How do we keep serving and be true to our call while waiting? How can we do both?
As countries closed borders in 2020, God encouraged the staff at STM to cast their nets of outreach even wider. STM enhanced the ministry of presence and equipping as they strengthened cross-cultural connections with partners. God’s omnipresence was revealed at a higher level.
