Gordon and Lee Ann are serving in Yokohama, Japan. Gordon exercises gifts of service and hospitality. Gordon hosts a weekly fellowship meeting in their home. Lee Ann works full-time as an English conversation teacher for junior and senior high students at Soshin Girls’ School.
Jae will serve through the Baja Baptist Seminary in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.
Pray for International Ministries Volunteers
American Baptist mission in Haiti first began in 1823, and IM personnel have been serving alongside Haitian brothers and sisters continuously since 1919. IM personnel and Haitian Baptist leaders together call for prayer that God will lead Haitians into a just and peaceful resolution to the current conflicts, and the long term needs they reflect.
There is a beautiful exchange between Jesus and his disciples recorded in John 15:15. Jesus has just finished teaching his followers about how he is the vine and they are the branches, a metaphor depicting the interdependent relationship between Christ and his followers.
