Denise and Juan work in training, prevention and education as they learn the community needs and look for ways to emotionally and economically empower leaders in their communities.
This project will help 100 students with learning needs and disabilities to be prepared for school by providing school uniforms and books.
Debbie and Keith provide pastoral accompaniment to the indigenous churches. This consists of training pastors, church leaders, youth leaders and teachers for the children.
Many times Keith has said to me, “Deb, God did not call me to Mexico to build chicken coops.” Then I would say, “If He didn’t want the project to succeed, then He wouldn’t have provided the resources.”
The Student Tuition Expense Program (STEP) will provide scholarship funds to assist children with financial need and children with disabilities.
Karla Carr’s heart for mission was opened in Mexico. “Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven…Blessed are the meek for their will inherit the earth..Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:3,5,8)
