Jesus is alive and at work in the world! We celebrate this message of hope and can see Christ at work all around us.
We have been blessed with kindness and hospitality. It is hard to believe that next month will mark the end of our first year. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve Christ here and are now seeing fruit.
We recently had the joy of visiting a small church in the Hungarian countryside. The congregation was warmhearted and generous. Many people shared touching testimonies of God’s faithfulness during times of persecution.
We were delighted to see this beautiful rainbow over the city of Debrecen. It was a moment in which we could somehow see the hope of Christ shining through the darkness.
The Samalleys currently serve as church planters working at a new Hungarian Baptist church in Vecses, Hungary, called “the Barka.” Since the Barka has drawn people from over 20 communities to worship consistently, Carrie and Kurt are starting other sister church plants.
