Corenne and Philip Smith are serving as global servants in Brazil. They work alongside of the National Baptist Convention of Brazil ministering to children who have been rescued off of the streets.

Alise and Mark will serve at the House of Love and House of Blessing. These ministries were established by IM missionary Kim Brown to serve tribal women and children coping with problems caused by AIDS, disabilities and migration from their rural villages to urban slums.

“See, I am doing a new thing!” The prophet Isaiah proclaims that God is doing a new thing. Hope is beginning to grow in the most unlikely places.

God designed us to do life together with others. In doing so, we also do ministry as we allow God to work in us and through us.

Brian and Lynette Smith and their two children Ricky and Calen arrived in Haiti on May 14th.

After almost four years of service in Costa Rica, we will be returning to the USA, beginning June 2019, to start our required year of home assignment. This is 6 months earlier than originally anticipated but it is necessary for Peter to receive medical treatment for his migraines (read more below) and to better accommodate the children’s transition to school.
