Brian and Lynette Smith and their two children Ricky and Calen arrived in Haiti on May 14^th.  Several global servants and the General Secretary of the Haitian Baptist Convention greeted them upon their arrival.

Brian will be working with local and visiting mission teams in construction and ongoing maintenance projects at three facilities.  Lynette will be working with women, providing information on basic life care skills along with leading creative art workshops.

Please pray for them as they transition to a new culture.  They will be working on their language skills (Creole).  During this time of adjustment, pray for their overall health.  There is also quite an adjustment to high temperatures and humidity.  Pray that they will stay hydrated.

Transition is a great focus for our global servants when they arrive at their new home.  Remember to pray for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
