MINISTRIES OF FAITH NEW LIFE
October is a month we remember deeply, as in 1998, Hurricane Mitch devastated Honduras in a way that forever marked our country. Yet, today we thank God because our nation continues moving forward. After the hurricane, the vision of coming to Honduras and beginning the ministries of Faith New Life was born.
For over twenty years, we have been serving the community of Azacualpa through several ministries focused on children. Our children’s feeding program has served 25 children this year, providing them with nutritious lunches that include traditional meals such as rice and beans, soups, and tortillas. Every day, our bus travels to nearby neighborhoods to bring the children so they can receive not only a meal but also the Word of God.

On Sunday, October 26, our Sunday school held a special program dedicated to children called “Children in One Voice.” Its purpose was to intercede in prayer for the children of Honduras. Although it was our first time organizing it, the program is celebrated nationally every year on the last Saturday of October. It was a beautiful experience filled with prayer, praise, and heartfelt petitions for God to protect and bless our nation.
Today, we also welcomed children from Kinder Minerva, who visited to learn about our school as they transition to first grade. Together, we sang, danced, and glorified God. The children also enjoyed breaking piñatas and sharing sweets and cookies.
