Into the Unknown!

“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called…
And he went out, not knowing where he was going.”

Hebrew 11:8

Hello my dear friends,

A few weeks ago, we celebrated Christmas then we anticipated the coming of the New Year.  Today, it’s the last day of January.  Time flies!   Two years ago I started the Masters Program. The Program is affiliated with the mission that I am supporting, Masters of Theological Studies in Latino/as Ministry.  It is offered to the Hispanic population in Iberoamerica and the Carribean, as well as here in the United States through Palmer Theological Seminary at Eastern University.  I was a part of the first class here in the US.  Since it is offered to Hispanics, the program is being taught in Spanish.  I praise God He got me through because I don’t even speak Spanish!  God is good!!!

2018 was an amazing year and definitely was an adventure!  But I will admit, it was super challenging for me.  While dealing with schoolwork, I was also taking care of my parents, and I traveled quite a bit.  I traveled to Idaho, North Carolina, Pennsylvania (Went for my Graduation Ceremony), Nebraska, Green Lake, Wisconsin (I attended the World Mission Conference), Illinois (I attended the Great Rivers Region Annual Conference), and drove all over the State of Montana.  I praise God; He always meets me in the midst of my weariness.  He gave me the strength that I needed and refreshes me.  With all those places that I’ve visited, I was so blessed with all the people I met.  New friendships were built and I feel that my family has grown!  Please know how grateful I am to you.  The warm welcome and hospitality was truly overwhelming and that will always stay in my heart.  You blessed me and I praise God for you!  I praise God so much for He is always ahead of me and He prepares my way.

Now, I’m done with school (Thank you, Jesus!!!); I told myself after I turned in my final paper in October, now it’s going to be full-speed with building my missionary partnership network of prayer and financial support.  As of right now, I’m at 34% of my 100% funding goal for me to get commission to Mexico.  I am so grateful to all of you who are already supporting me in prayers and financially.  You are the reason I’m at 34% now with my funding and the reason why I am able to visit places to share my ministry and invite people to partner with me.  Thank you!!  Thank you so much for allowing me to be your hands and feet to spread the Gospel here in our own “Jerusalem” and soon in Mexico and beyond.  My hope is I will reach 80% with my funding by June or July and to prepare for my commissioning service before the end of this year.

If you are reading this and you are being led to journey with me, you can give monthly, quarterly, or annually; please go online to JaeStockton.com and click on the GREEN “Give” button or you can send a check to International Ministries at 1003 W. 9th Ave. Suite A., King of Prussia, PA 19406 (Please write my name on the memo part of your check).  If you need assistance on giving, please call Donor Services at 610-768-2323.

In the next eight (8) months will be super busy for me, perhaps this whole year of 2019.  The truth is, since I started doing this deputation, going to different places, speaking and sharing my ministry and my calling to different churches, groups and individuals feels as I am walking out into the unknown, I am leaving my comfort zone (leaving my parents behind); but this wasn’t the first time, just like when I was in the military…  When we were getting ready to deploy to Iraq, I felt like I was “Stepping out into the unknown.”  I know this is just another amazing adventure, but this time it’s for the advancement of God’s Kingdom and my heart trust that God will be with me and in me step-by-step (just like always) as I carry out “His calling” in my life, another mission that I must fulfill for the glory of God.  I am excited and I praise God for this great privilege He has given me in my life, allowing me to serve His beloved people.  And I am blessed to have you journeying with me.  Thank you!

I would really appreciate if you can please lift me up in your prayers.

Thank you for your love, support and prayers.  Please know I cannot do this journey alone and I am so grateful for your partnership in the Gospel.  Thank you!  May God bless you abundantly as we journey together for the advancement of God’s Kingdom!

Yours in Christ,
Jae
