¡El 1ro de julio celebramos nuestro 23er aniversario con Ministerios Internacionales y comenzamos otro nuevo término de servicio! Ebenezer… Seguiremos con las lecciones de discipulado del alfabeto hebreo el próximo mes, pero miremos este año de visitas que recién completamos…

Para quienes disfrutan las estadísticas, detalles de lo acumulado …

• 35,406 millas por aire en 28 aviones y por tierra,
• 40 camas entre todas las visitas y
• 100 días fuera de casa de los 365 días en un año…

Entre el 28 de junio de 2022; julio, septiembre, octubre, noviembre, febrero, marzo, abril, mayo y el 30 de junio de 2023, sus BGs visitaron la red en

• Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Puerto Rico, West Virginia, North Carolina, California, Alabama, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts y Michigan en 20 viajes diferentes durante el año… Sí, visitamos Indiana y Puerto Rico más de una vez. Indiana tiene más de una región en el estado. Y, Puerto Rico es la región que nos envió además de que tuvimos un viaje adicional inesperado para el servicio memorial del papá de Mayra.

Aunque no pudimos coordinar visitar en

• Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York ni Ohio

preparamos y enviamos videos para sus reuniones regionales e hicimos llamadas a la red. Además, pudimos compartir con sus ministros ejecutivos en la reciente Cumbre Misionera Bienal de las IBA-EEUU 2023 en Puerto Rico.

Así que, al recién completar nuestro año de visitas, es hora de planificar nuestra nueva asignación. Qué alegría participar haber participado de la bienal. Nos pusimos al día con quienes habíamos visitado y especialmente con quienes no pudimos visitar este año. Muchas tarjetas de oración se fueron a sus casas y confiamos que el Señor inquiete a quienes comenzarán o aumentarán su coparticipación con nuestro ministerio en los próximos 5 años de servicio. Los días 11, 12, 16, 24, 29 y 30 del mes son buen momento para estar en la brecha, ofrendar y enviarnos a hacer discípulas y discípulos en Iberoamérica y El Caribe.

Estamos preparándonos para nuestra primera visita internacional en persona a nuestros socios en Chile, España, Nicaragua y Colombia (con quienes ya servimos), durante el primer año de esta nueva asignación. Estas serán oportunidades para reconectar en persona con quienes nos mantuvimos conectados virtualmente todos estos años, incluyendo durante la pandemia. Serán visitas para ver cuáles son sus necesidades, hablar de discipulado y ver cómo el Señor querrá que respondamos en unidad por el bien común en adelante. El segundo año regresaremos a servir como el Señor dirija y llevar grupos voluntarios que deseen acompañarnos.

Iberoamérica y El Caribe es una región muy grande dentro de nuestra sociedad misionera. Hay países que anticipamos nos invitarán a servirles con los encuentros de discipulado. Tener una red fuerte y comprometida es vital para contar con los fondos necesarios para nuestro ministerio que DIOS provee a través SUYO. Gracias a quienes ofrendan con generosidad. Nos falta poco para tener todos los fondos requeridos. ¿Será de quienes Dios está inquietando para ponerse en la brecha comprometiendo su apoyo económico para nuestro ministerio en estos próximos 5 años de servicio? Si nuestro nivel de apoyo no llega al 100% o se reduce demasiado, tocará interrumpir el ministerio para levantar más fondos en EE.UU. y Puerto Rico antes de poder continuar. Confiamos que nos acompañará para poder concentrarnos en Su misión. Si no nos envía y apoya, y si no vamos, ¿quién irá a hacer discípulos y discípulas?

On July 1st we celebrate our 23^rd anniversary of service with ABFMS / International Ministries and the beginning of our new term of service! Ebenezer… We will continue our Hebrew alphabet discipleship lessons next month, but let us look at our recently completed US/PR assignment in review…

For those of you who enjoy stats, here are some of what we accrued…

• 35,406 miles by air in 28 planes and by land,
• 40 beds throughout our visits, and
• 100 days away from home out of 365 days in a year…

Between June 28, 2022; July, September, October, November, February, March, April, May, and June 30, 2023, your BGs visited the network in

• Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Puerto Rico, West Virginia, North Carolina, California, Alabama, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Michigan in 20 different trips throughout the year… Yes, we visited Indiana and Puerto Rico more than once. Indiana has more than one region within the state. And, Puerto Rico is our sending region and an extra unexpected visit happened for Mayra’s dad’s homegoing service.

Though we could not coordinate visits in

• Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, or Ohio

we made and sent videos to regional gatherings and made phone calls to network siblings. We were also able to visit with the executive ministers of those regions at this recent 2023 ABCUSA Biennial Mission Summit in Puerto Rico.

So, as we’ve just completed this US/PR assignment, it is time to plan for our term of service ahead. What a joy to attend the biennial. It was awesome to catch up with so many siblings we had visited and especially with those we had not been able to visit this past year. Many prayer cards were sent home with many of you, and we trust the Lord will nudge those who will begin or increase your partnership with our ministry during these next 5 years of service. A reminder from June’s journal, that on each 11, 12, 16, 24, 29, and 30 of any month, you can stand in the gap and love on us through your financial commitment as we go and make disciples in Iberoamerica and the Caribbean.

We are already preparing to make our first international in-person visits on the first year of our new term of service, to our partners in Chile, Spain, Nicaragua, and Colombia; the countries where we have already served. These will be opportunities to reacquaint ourselves in person with those we have stayed in touch with virtually throughout the years and even throughout the pandemic. These will be visits to assess the needs in each country, talk about discipleship, and see how the Lord will have us journey together hereafter. The second year of the term we will return to serve with each of them as the Lord leads, and bring short-term mission teams who would like to accompany us.

Iberoamerica and the Caribbean is a very large region within our mission society. There are other countries that we anticipate will invite us to serve through our discipleship encounters with them. Having a strong and committed network is vital to have the ministry funds and resources brought to us by GOD through YOU to make this possible. We are grateful to everyone who is generously giving. We are yet to be fully funded. Will you be the ones God is nudging to stand in the gap to accomplish that by committing your support to our ministry for these next 5 years of service? If our support level does not reach 100% or if it drops too low, we will need to interrupt our ministry and resume raising support in the USA and Puerto Rico before we can continue. We trust you will accompany us so we can focus on His mission. If you don’t send and support us, and we don’t go, who will go and make disciples?
