Este 2026 va muy rápido, ¿cierto? Dios nos ha estado mostrando este año tantas veces, de tantas maneras y a través de tantas personas, Su gran amor. Esa es toda la gasolina que necesitamos para seguir amando como Él nos ama. A ver si resumimos en varios párrafos por qué lo decimos.

Después de los 12 viajes del año pasado, estamos viajando diferente. Luego del #12, hicimos el #13 en diciembre. Hicimos lo que uds hacen a través de nosotros y nuestros colegas: sus BGs viajamos a través de otra persona. Ruth pudo llevar la alegría de la navidad a la niñez Wayúu en La Guajira, Colombia, gracias a la generosidad de algunas hermanas en Puerto Rico que ofrendaron para ello. Aunque no pudimos viajar en persona, viajamos a través de ella y nos alegramos al saber que esta niñez que se quedó sin su celebración navideña. Bendecimos a Dios por Su provisión y agradecemos a Ruth por su disposición para ir en representación nuestra (y de las hermanas en Puerto Rico).

Al comenzar otro año de ministerio, nuestro primer viaje fue en febrero a California con Aspire Network. Qué gran recordatorio y estímulo recibimos al seguir cumpliendo el mandato de la gran comisión de multiplicarnos como Sus hijas e hijos. Al hacer discípulos, damos de la llenura de nuestra intimidad y conexión con Jesús, como María que supo sentarse a Sus pies. Empapados en oración y por guerreros de oración, caminamos con el Camino cada día. Al regreso una paradita en Texas a visitar una amiga de la infancia y su familia lo cuál fue de gran bendición.

Nuestras circunstancias recientes nos han limitado estar físicamente cerca de nuestra red. El año pasado hicimos muchas visitas pero todavía hay muchas pendientes en nuestra ruta. Marzo y abril nos acercan a parte de la red en los Grandes Ríos, Indiana / Kentucky, Michigan, New York y Ohio. Mayo y Junio nos acercará a nuestros socios en misión en España al compartir nuestros materiales de discipulado con quienes están plantando 15 iglesias nuevas en su campaña “15 para el 30”. También compartiremos extensamente con nuestros socios en Chile entre enero y marzo del 2027 a nivel convencional en encuentros de discipulado mientras siguen extendiéndose en todo su país.

Seguimos adelante gracias al estímulo que representa su acompañamiento y por la certeza que Su Palabra nos provee… Les dejamos el coro de dos cánticos de adoración que nos siguen resonando:

Damos gracias a Dios que Él sigue trayendo a nuestra red guerreros de oración. Confiamos que seguirá trayendo quienes se comprometan y provean el apoyo financiero mensual continuo que todavía falta para permitir que nuestro ministerio se extienda a toda Iberoamérica y El Caribe. Siempre hay necesidad y espacio para que más se unan en estas asignaciones de 5 años y viendo que más países nos están invitando. Tu lugar está listo según Él te inquiete. Lo creemos, Él provee y completa lo que empieza. Así que, seguimos buscando primeramente Su reino y Sus tesoros, como nos recuerda un verso en la segunda canción.

Si en algo meditamos constantemente, con meridiana claridad, es en cuánto Dios nos ama que mandó a Su Hijo Amado para salvarnos y hacernos Sus hijos e hijas amadas. Qué privilegio compartir esas buenas nuevas con quienes están aprendiendo a caminar con el Camino a la vez que seguimos nuestro propio proceso de aprender, vivir y enseñar a quienes nos rodean. Esas son buenas noticias para ti también, ¿cierto? Qué privilegio que también las compartas. Esta semana santa es una excelente oportunidad para ponerlo en acción en gratitud por Su gran amor…

Acts and Love in Action: BGsEtAl 2026Jan-Apr; Vol. XXVI Num. 5;
Mandate.Commission.Multiply.Clarity.

This 2026 is flying by, isn’t it? God has been showing us this year so many times, in so many ways, and through so many people, just how much He loves us. His love for us is all the fuel we need to continue loving others the way He loves them too. Let us see how we can summarize why we say this in a few paragraphs.

After last year’s 12 trips, we’ve been traveling differently this year. Since that 12th trip, we made a 13th trip in December. We did what y’all often do through us and our colleagues: your BGs traveled through someone else. With resources provided by some of our sisters in Puerto Rico, Ruth was able to share some Christmas cheer with the Wayuu children in The Guajira, Colombia. Though we couldn’t travel in person, we traveled through her; and we rejoice knowing that these children didn’t go without a Christmas celebration. Praise be to God who provided. We are grateful to Ruth who was willing to go on our (and our PR sisters’) behalf.

As we faced a new year of ministry, our first trip was in February to California the Aspire Network. What a joyful encouragement and reminder as we continue serving in fulfillment of the mandate we have in the great commission to multiply as His children. As we make disciples, we give out of the overflow of our own intimacy and connection to Jesus, like Mary knew to sit at His feet. Bathed in prayer and by prayer warriors, we keep walking with the Way each day. A stopover in Texas with a childhood friend and her family was a blessing of His love.

Being physically close to our network is something that has eluded us in recent years due to our circumstances. Last year we visited many, yet more are still in the pipelines of our catch-up visiting routes. March and April bring us closer to a part of our network in Great Rivers, Indiana / Kentucky, Michigan, New York, and Ohio. May and June bring us closer to our partners in Spain as we share our discipleship materials with those who are planting 15 new churches in their “15 by 2030” outreach. We will also share extensively with our partners in Chile from January to March of 2027 in convention-wide, disciple-making encounters as they are also expanding throughout their land.

How could we continue if it weren’t for the encouragement of y’all and the certainty His Word gives us? We leave you with two choruses of two worship songs that have been resonating with us:

We are grateful to God who continues to bring prayer warriors to our network. We are also trusting Him is bring those who will commit and provide the still needed ongoing monthly financial support that will enable our ministry to continue thriving in Iberoamerica and the Caribbean. There is always need and room for more to join us as we serve in terms of 5 years at a time and more countries continue to invite us. Your spot in our network is ready as He nudges you. We believe it, He provides and completes what He begins. So, we keep seeking first the kingdom and its treasures, as the second song reminds us in one of its verses.

If anything, we are reminded with clarity, how much God has loved us in that He sent His own beloved Son to save us and make us His very own and beloved children. What a privilege to share such good news with others who are learning to walk in the Way as we continue to learn, live out, and teach others around us. Isn’t that good news for each of us to share with others around you? This Holy Week we all have the opportunity to share these good news out of our gratitude for His great love!
