Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.” “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:9; 4-5)
With the recent unexpected end of my older brother’s life on earth, I give praise that he was content to rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord God. Meanwhile, I can keep singing Hallelujah. It is the true light, the Savior Jesus Christ, who can light up the darkness and even in the darkness bring forth life and vitality. Thanks be to God for giving the world His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Emerson and I safely returned to the States from Taiwan at the end of June and became fully vaccinated a couple weeks ago. We are in a transition for our US/PR Assignment from September 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022.
Earlier, we were planning to visit churches and friends during our deputation. However, while the pandemic is changing and transforming overtime, we cannot but change our plan to use video conferencing or virtual meetings to interact with everyone. We pray and hope this approach is understandable and works out for all.
We will be in Columbus, OH, October 9-15. At that time, we will attend the Sunday worship service at Karl Road Baptist Church on the 10th and the ABC Ohio Annual Gathering on the 12th.
Currently, we temporarily live in San Francisco, CA. If you are interested and would like us to share our updated ministry with you and/or the congregation of your church, please contact us (Wu@internationalministries.org). We look forward to hearing from and seeing you soon.
May our Lord’s peace and protection be with you.
