Q: What do I do about meals?
A: Guests who stay in a hotel room, suite, or dorm need a meal package that begins with supper on Monday, July 4, through breakfast on Saturday, July 9. Guests who rent a house, cottage, cabin, or campsite have the option to cook their own meals or they can buy meal tickets at the front desk in the Kraft Center. Individual ticket prices are $11 for breakfast, $13.50 for lunch, and $15 for supper. Prices do not include Wisconsin’s 5% sales tax.
Q: Can I get a discount on meals as part of attending the conference?
A: The discounted conference price for a meal package is $184 for adults and children 12 and older. The meal package begins with supper on Monday, July 4, to breakfast on Saturday, July 9. Prices do not include Wisconsin’s 5% sales tax.
Q: Is the price different for children?
A: Yes. The conference meal package for children ages 5 to 11 is $130.50 for supper on Monday, July 4, through breakfast on Saturday, July 9. Children ages 4 and younger eat for free. Prices do not include Wisconsin’s 5% sales tax.
Q: What are the meals like at Green Lake?
A: Guests may choose from a variety of foods on the buffet, including vegetarian options. Breakfast includes hot items as well as oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, breads, and fruit. Lunch and supper have a salad bar in addition to the entrée items, soup, and desserts.
Q: Can Green Lake accommodate my dietary needs?
A: Yes. There is a form on their website to request special meals. Or you can ask them to mail you the form when you call to reserve housing.
