Dear Friends and Ministry Partners,
We are grateful for the opportunity to share an encouraging update from Larry’s recent trip to northern Serbia. Thanks to a generous gift from First Baptist Church of Ava, Illinois, along with the faithful supporters who give to our Undesignated Specifics account and to our ongoing support, Larry and Pastor Zoltán were able to purchase and deliver firewood for more than twenty families in the communities we serve.
For many of these households, winter is a season of deep uncertainty—especially when resources run low and the cold presses in. Your generosity made it possible not only to meet a very practical need but also to bring comfort, dignity, and the warmth of Christ’s love into homes that often feel forgotten.
During the trip, Larry visited several families, including a woman who belongs to another church but has cooked faithfully for our English Bible Camps year after year, serving children she loves as her own. He also met with a gentleman who once served as a radio operator during the Serbian war, a man who carries both the resilience and the scars of difficult decades. Each visit was a reminder of why presence matters—and how God uses simple acts of compassion to open doors to hope.

Thank you to every individual, family, and congregation whose giving keeps this ministry going. Your support not only places firewood in people’s yards; it keeps us on the field, building relationships that point to Jesus.
As winter settles in, would you please pray for these families?
Pray that they will feel God’s warmth in every sense—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Pray that they will give God the glory for His provision and know that they are seen and loved.
With grateful hearts,
Becky & Larry Stanton
