There is an expression that says, “the good news of Christ is too good not to share.” We wholeheartedly believe that it is our privilege to share the hope of Jesus to everyone we meet. This can happen by helping a classmate find housing in a city that is full of people, but not full of places to live. It can happen by sharing meals while listening to stories of joy and hardship from a distant land. It can happen by demonstrating the deep love of God no matter one’s background or culture. Of course, it happens by teaching and proclaiming the message of Jesus in one’s native language.

The language we speak in our church is Italian, however, we print copies of the sermon in languages such as English and Chinese. The message of Jesus too important to not to share in every possible way and every possible language. The apostle Paul said this in his letter to the Romans, “I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”

People from all over the world come to Florence for many reasons, but the Lord is at work in the same way. He is drawing people toward Christian community and giving opportunity to experience new and abundant life. We are thankful to be a part of Christ’s work here in Italy and we are thankful for your partnership in the gospel.
