The Power of Anonimity…

This 2025 flew by, didn’t it? We have 2026 peeking in around the corner and plans for it are in full speed. Having completed 12 trips this year (40 planes, 1 train, 5 buses, many cars, and 44 beds), your BGs shout out: “Ebenezer, YHWH YIRE”. When we thought we didn’t have enough strength to finish the year. He rescued us through you! THANKS!!!

Quite often we depend on pics and reports to know if our investments in kingdom work are bearing fruit. Yet, we felt encouraged as we received some early responses to our ongoing financial appeal through a generous anonymous gift and several $25 and $50 monthly commitments to help us be able to continue to prepare for more “Disciples of the Way–Discipleship Encounters” in 2026! What a boost as we were boarding to travel to Spain to see support growing to enable God’s work. Pray with us that He will provide the financial resources we need for this ministry to continue throughout 2026. Feel free to invite a friend or relative to join our network with their prayers and support!

It would be hard to include all the pics we’ve taken on our 12 trips, yet here are 12 pic collages highlighting how God is at work!

The trips began in February in West Virginia with our colleagues and the Reed family as we celebrated J.D.’s life. Then in March we went to Puerto Rico for their annual sessions and spent time at our home church. In April we went to Chile to share our materials. In May we had some more opportunities in Puerto Rico. Since we left Puerto Rico in 2017, Carlos hadn’t been back until this year that we’ve been catching up on the island (a total of 5 times this year). It was needed and quite fruitful. Our sending region continues to be supportive and important in this next season of our ministry.

Serving in the Dominican Republic in June with our colleagues and the team from West Virginia was a blessing. In July we had two VBSs and a very special visit on our island. In August, West Virginia had us for their Camp Global and visits to several supporting churches. At the end of August, our home church recommissioned us on our 25th anniversary of service and we had the blessing to “pass the torch” during the Mission Symposium.

It is amazing to think that it’s already been 25 years since we started this journey of mission service around the world as a family. Our first assignment was Chile, so we recreated that first trip this past September with a very special visit to the ends of the earth! What a joy to be with those who received us in 2000 when we moved to Chile and to even find a street with “Los Misioneros” as its name! Planting roots is not easy when God moves you from place to place; yet, roots run deep throughout this relationship. In October, Michigan received us with new ministry opportunities. In the second half of the month, we returned a 5th time to Puerto Rico and shared the completed two levels of our materials with our home church. In November, the annual convention in Spain hosted us, and we revisited “The Good Way” shelter in Lorca as it continues to serve those in need 10 years after its dedication.

Whether we see Him or not, God is always at work. We trust this Christmas season and 2026 year into His hands! Merry Christmas and a blessed year ahead…

El Poder del Anonimato…

Este 2025 voló, ¿cierto? El 2026 se asoma a la vuelta de la esquina y los planes se desarrollan a todo vapor. Al completar los 12 viajes en este año (40 aviones, 1 tren, 5 buses, muchos carros y 44 camas), sus BGs decimos: “Ebenezer, YHWH YIRE”. Cuando las fuerzas se agotaban, Él nos rescató a través de ustedes. ¡¡¡GRACIAS!!!

Con frecuencia dependemos de fotos e informes para saber si lo invertido en el trabajo del Reino está dando frutos. Fue alentador recibir la respuesta inicial a la reciente petición con un donativo anónimo y varios compromisos mensuales de $25 y $50 con los que podemos seguir preparándonos para más “Encuentros de Discipulado-Discípulos del Camino” en el 2026. Fue un gran empuje mientras abordábamos para viajar a España al ver un aumento en el apoyo que necesitamos. Oren que más personas se sigan uniendo para contar con los recursos necesarios para este ministerio en el 2026. Contamos con que inviten a sus amistades y familias a unirse a nuestra red con sus oraciones y apoyo.

Incluir todas las fotos de estos 12 viajes sería difícil pero esta recolección de 12 resalta cómo Dios estuvo trabajando en cada lugar.

Comenzamos en Febrero en West Virginia junto a colegas y la familia Reed celebrando la vida de J.D. Luego en Marzo fuimos a Puerto Rico a la asamblea anual y a visitar nuestra iglesia madre. En Abril fuimos a Chile a compartir nuestros materiales con grupos nuevos. En Mayo volvimos a Puerto Rico. Desde que salimos en el 2017, Carlos no había regresado a la isla hasta este año que nos hemos estado poniendo al día (un total de 5 veces este año). La región que nos envió sigue siendo importante.

Servir en la República Dominicana en Junio junto a colegas y el equipo de West Virginia fue una bendición. En Julio tuvimos dos EBV y una visita muy especial en nuestra isla. En Agosto, West Virginia nos recibió en su Camp Global y visitamos varias iglesias. Y al terminar Agosto, nuestra iglesia madre nos recomisionó en nuestro aniversario #25 y luego tuvimos la bendición de “pasar la antorcha” en el Simposio Misionológico.

Increíble pensar que han pasado 25 años desde que comenzamos este peregrinaje familiar de servicio misionero alrededor del mundo. Nuestra primera asignación fue Chile; así que, recreamos aquel primer viaje este pasado Septiembre viajando a los confines de la tierra… Que alegría que nos recibieran como en el 2000 cuando nos mudamos a Chile y hasta encontrar una calle llamada de “Los Misioneros”. Echar raíces no es fácil cuando Dios te mueve de un lugar a otro; sin embargo, hay raíces profundas en esta relación. En Octubre, Michigan nos recibió con nuevas oportunidades de ministerio. En la segunda mitad del mes, regresamos por 5ta vez a Puerto Rico a entregarle a nuestra iglesia madre dos niveles de nuestros materiales. En Noviembre, la convención en España nos recibió y visitamos “El Buen Camino” en Lorca que sigue en pie y sirviendo a quienes lo necesitan (10 años después de su dedicación).

Lo veamos o no, Dios siempre está obrando. Confiamos este tiempo de Navidad y el 2026 en Sus manos… ¡Feliz Navidad y un bendecido año por delante!
