Jorge and Hermelinda are associate missionaries who serve with the Baptist Churches in the Dereham region of the United Kingdom. They are assisting churches of the Baptist Union of Great Britain reach out to the communities of Portuguese-speaking migrant workers in the region.
In partnership with the Ghana Baptist Convention, Rovaughna works at the Baptist Vocational Training Center in a ministry rescuing, rehabilitating and educating young women who had been victims of a cultural practice called Trokosi, which has elements of human trafficking
Kim works with a team of indigenous leaders to manage a multi-faceted response to the needs of tribal peoples: HIV/AIDS prevention education, care for those who are HIV+ (including the House of Love for women and children affected by AIDS), ministry to people with disabilities, youth ministry and education and economic development work among migrants in locations spanning from traditional villages to urban slums.
Kyle will use his gifts to provide leadership, mentoring and coaching with staff in taking part in state-of-the-art information mapping. Kyle will join with Southeast Asia national leadership to seek justice for oppressed populations and to strengthen human rights and dignity.
Ann and Bruce work alongside national leaders to build capacity in theological education, church-based community and economic development, servant leadership, social entrepreneurship, cross-cultural global servant training and ministry with refugees.
