Patti and Tim serve in Baja California, Mexico. Patti ministers as a special education teacher and resource specialist at the Monte Horeb Baptist Grade School in Tijuana, a school that reaches out to the most vulnerable of the city’s young population, its children with special needs. Tim serves in leadership development with the Baja Baptist Seminary of Mexicali, teaching present and future church leaders in Baja California, México, and with IM partners in the Dominican Republic. He also serves as on-site coordinator and professor in Palmer Seminary’s MTS online Spanish language program.

We are rejoicing for a full slate of activities and classes since January highlighted by special occasions in ministry for Tim: Stan Slade’s week in Baja teaching on Genesis; an Encounter in the Dominican Republic with over 50 leaders from 4 associations of churches — Mercy Barnes, Mylinda Baits and Peter McCurdy accompanied me to the island for this special time; and a great week with Mexicali 2 cohort of the Masters in Theological Studies (Palmer Seminary) in a residency at the Mexicali Seminary.   

Looking to the inauguration of the new school building at Monte Horeb in Tijuana where Patti teaches.  The new building has been a dream for over 15 years now and construction began last fall.  Inauguration date: March 27th.
