Lea serves as a missionary nurse in the Center for the Development of People with Disabilities (CDPD). She works in the center itself and in rural villages as part of the center’s mobile health clinic. Besides her primary duties as a health care provider, she provides health education, teaches English to the staff and offers other assistance as needed. In addition, Lea is part of the Community-Based Rehabilitation Program, through which she reaches out to ethnic minority groups in mountain villages and to the local Thai population. She also helps with the Student Tuition Expense Program in Sangklaburi.
Lea writes – Please pray for the ministry of CDPD.
- One of our paraplegic client became a Christian 2 years ago had just discharge from the hospital from Chiangmai due to post-operative ruptured appendicitis Yesterday I did a dressing in his wound and it’s a bit red on the sutured site. Hope he will not get any more infection.
- Please pray for the couple Wandee and Wichian who are both blind. Wandee delivered a baby girl 2.9 kg and now they stay at the Center, as I have to help oversee the baby with Wandee’s mother who is over 60.
- Please pray for one of our patient that fell on the tree and also a paraplegic but became a Christian, and last week when we visited and prayed for him he asked for a Thai Bible. So, I appreciate your prayer for him that he will grow in his faith.
