Jae will provide technical assistance to seminary students and church leaders, both at the Mexicali campus and at other seminaries in the region. She will also provide assistance for the online Masters in Theological Studies in Latino/a Ministries, a joint effort with Palmer Seminary of Eastern University through which International Ministries and American Baptist Home Mission Societies personnel train church leaders throughout the Americas. Jae will also support the Baja Baptist Seminary programs of Evangelism and Discipleship. 

 Jae writes – Two years ago I started the Masters Program. The Program is affiliated with the mission that I am supporting, Masters of Theological Studies in Latino/as Ministry.  It is offered to the Hispanic population in Iberoamerica and the Carribean, as well as here in the United States through Palmer Theological Seminary at Eastern University.  I was a part of the first class here in the US.  Since it is offered to Hispanics, the program is being taught in Spanish.  I praise God He got me through because I don’t even speak Spanish!  God is good!!! 

2018 was an amazing year and definitely was an adventure!  But I will admit, it was super challenging for me.  While dealing with schoolwork, I was also taking care of my parents, and I traveled quite a bit.  …  I praise God; He always meets me in the midst of my weariness.  He gave me the strength that I needed and refreshes me.  With all those places that I’ve visited, I was so blessed with all the people I met.  New friendships were built and I feel that my family has grown!  Please know how grateful I am to you.  The warm welcome and hospitality was truly overwhelming and that will always stay in my heart.  … I praise God so much for He is always ahead of me and He prepares my way.

• Please pray for the people I will meet, that I will be a blessing to them and God’s Holy Spirit will manifest into people’s heart as they hear my message. 
• Please pray that others will join and my ongoing personal support goal will grow. 
• Please pray for my safety and protection when I’m away traveling. 
• Please pray that God will provide all my needs and that He will allow me to walk in His favor wherever I go. 
• Please pray for my parents physical healing, safety and protection while I’m away traveling.
