They write – Many mornings we are able to walk through the forest that is near our home. We are thankful for the beautiful landscape God has provided. This path of stillness has become a place for prayer, reflection, and thankfulness. We can see that God is at work in big and small ways here in Hungary.
The COVID-19 virus reached Hungary early this spring. Restrictions on gatherings and shopping were quickly dispatched. Our children began online school and our ministries virtually moved to Facebook and Google Classroom. It was a strange new world for us. No one knows how long we will travel this journey. We don’t even know where the path will take us. However, one thing we do know is that we don’t have to travel alone. Christ is with us every step of the way. He is at work all around us and we can marvel at the wonder of his presence.
The English Bible study continues to reach new people. Each week we provide teaching, worship, and community connection opportunities. Now that we are online, people who are currently in Budapest, the Hungarian countryside, Kazakhstan, South Africa, and even California can participate in small groups. We are amazed at how God is using this new platform to build the community and share the hope of Christ.
Thank you for your prayer and financial support. We praise the Lord that with you, we can share the hope of Jesus here in Debrecen.
