We are in the midst of cross-cultural training and language acquisition study. You can think of it as Missionary Boot Camp. A typical day starts with early morning exercise, coffee, prayer, more coffee, and bible study. This is followed by classes, lunch with classmates, application and team activities. Our children are enthusiastically soaking up their studies while having fun with other missionary kids. All of us are so grateful to all of you whose gifts have enabled us to learn and grow during this time.

Second Corinthians 4:5 is a key verse in our training: “For what we preach is not ourselves, but  Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.”

We are looking forward to serving the people of Hungary because Christ is at work in the most amazing ways. Teachers are rejoicing in the freedom to talk about their faith. After-school programs invite students and their families to become disciples of Jesus. There are so many new believers that there is a need for new churches and leadership training. Help us respond while the window of opportunity is open.
