Early in December 2021, INSAAF hosted a Kids Party for 50 children of Migrant Domestic Workers. In these challenging economic times, mothers are not able to afford simple joys like toys and children’s Happy Meals at McDonald’s. We collaborated with a local NGO to provide free entertainment and a local migrant church to provide a large outdoor meeting space. McDonald’s brought Happy Meals and extra activity packs for kids, including balloons and coloring books. The children enjoyed the clowns, costume contest, prizes, and toys. They also received face painting and made Christmas-themed crafts. The parents enjoyed seeing the big smiles plastered on their children’s faces and hearing the endless bouts of laughter.

This month, two of our staff were infected with COVID from one of our beneficiaries. We continue to pray for their healing and infected family members. Please continue to pray for our protection and safety. We also need wisdom with continuing our ministries during COVID. Our beneficiaries are some of the most vulnerable. They do not have money for PCR tests and medicine is hard to find and very expensive.
