25th Anniversary Celebration of God’s Light with

Ms. Alia Abboud, Chief Development Officer at LSESD, shares what will happen at the 25th anniversary and moments of looking back and looking forward:

“God created us to be on mission with Him and therefore to be in partnership with one another (1 John 1:3).  For our 25^th anniversary next September, The Loving God and Neighbor Together celebration will be an opportunity for fellowship and giving thanks for God’s many provisions in these past 25 years and to seek together His counsel for the next 25 years.  As we look back on the past 25 years, our time together will be a combination of worship, seminars, and regional perspectives from practitioners and experts from several countries around the MENA region, including Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Sudan, Egypt, and Morocco…  

 We hope this will inspire us to look ahead and envision together how we see the Holy Spirit leading us to pursue the mission of God in our country and region for the next 25 years. This is where we want to have a meaningful consultation with our close partners to discern together what we think God is preparing for the next season of ministry.  We will also have the opportunity to visit some of our local church partners to encourage them in their ministry.  

Lebanese food is always a plus, so we have set dedicated time to enjoy together delicious meals and visit beautiful regions and historical places around Lebanon.
