Today marked the official launch of the Gen Z Gathering, an online initiative designed to connect and encourage young leaders from around the world. The purpose of this gathering is to create a space where Gen Z voices can be heard, their experiences shared, and their ministries celebrated.

For our very first session, we were blessed to have 21 participants from five countries — Australia, India, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and the USA. Each participant shared about their ministry in their local context, offering insight into both the opportunities and the challenges they face. It was inspiring to see how God is at work in so many different places through the lives of these young leaders.

I also had the privilege of presenting on “How Do I Read the Bible?” where we explored:

Understanding the Bible as God’s living Word

Practical ways to begin reading with consistency and prayer

Helpful tools for study and reflection

Methods for applying Scripture to daily life

The unique challenges Gen Z faces in engaging Scripture today

Why reading the Bible is worth it for shaping faith, identity, and mission

This launch affirmed that the next generation is not just preparing for the future of the church — they are already a vital part of its life and witness today.

Looking ahead, the Gen Z Gathering will meet quarterly, with our next gathering planned for December. My hope and prayer is that this initiative will continue to strengthen connections, deepen faith, and inspire bold witness across generations and cultures.
