Interactive Virtual Art Exhibit

As I near the end of my sabbatical leave, I am profoundly grateful to International Ministries and the New Life Center Foundation for this opportunity to rest, pray, and spend time with God.  I am feeling a deep sense inner restoration and hopefulness as I head into this next season of ministry.

During my sabbatical leave, I went to the beach, did photography and produced some new artwork.  I also took classes to learn how to do ecoprinting on fabric.

I recently held an art exhibit as the culmination of my sabbatical journey.  For those who were unable to attend in person, I created an interactive virtual art exhibit.  If you are interested, you can access it by clicking on the link in blue below.  Click and drag to look around.  Click on the white targets on the floor to move forward and enter the rooms.  You will also find various icons scattered around the space.  You can click on them to see high resolution images of the artwork, information about the artwork, and a slideshow of opening night.  There are also 7 short YouTube videos embedded in the virtual exhibit.  If you click on the play button, the video will open in a different tab.  When you are finished watching the video, just close the tab to go back to the virtual exhibit. When you arrive in the virtual space, start by viewing the introductory video to your left or the artist bio and opening night slideshow to your right.

US Assignment

As an International Ministries Global Servant, part of my ministry commitment is to return to the US periodically to visit ministry partners, and do speaking and fundraising.  I am excited to start my next US assignment in a few weeks, and I hope to see you in person when I’m there.  My travel plans are:

September and October: Maine, Oregon (to present a paper at the American Art Therapy Association Annual Conference), and a brief trip to Washington State

November: International Christian Alliance on Prostitution Conference in Green Lake, Wisconsin, followed by visits to churches in Ohio, and western Pennsylvania

December: western and central New York State and eastern Pennsylvania

January and February: western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Missouri

March: southern California

I plan to resume ministry in Thailand at the end of March.

Thank you

Thank you for your prayers and generous support that enable me to share God’s love in Thailand.
