India COVID-19 education and mutual support

I have created an India Coronavirus Crisis Chat Group in early March to address the COVID-19 impact in South Asia. International Ministries personnel like Katie and Taku, Kristy Engel, Wati Longchar, Lanu and Alemla Jamir, Joseph Huse, and South Asian partner leaders Dr. Akheto Sema, Rev. Samaresh Nayak, Dr. John Sangma, Dr. Loreign, and Dr. Sunil and I have been working together to produce and provide the “Fighting COVID-19 in South Asia” materials which include flyers, banners and video to partner churches and their communities as an effort to strengthen the coronavirus awareness and education. Rev. Samaresh Nayak, India Mission Coordination Committee Executive Director, provides wonderful leadership. We are sending the master copies of  the materials to churches to print and provide to their members. The video is shared in Chat Groups. The first round communication will go to our partner churches in Bengal-Orissa-Bihar, NE and South India which represent 2.5 million members. We are also providing these materials to other partners in Asia to edit and use in their contexts.
