Ministry in Qonce, South Africa
October – December 2024
Merry Christmas Greetings
And
Blessings for the New Year
“but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!”
Luke 2:10-11
Greetings to all of you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will start home assignment in January 1, 2025. I am now in Los Angeles, California to enjoy some time celebrating Christmas and the New Year holidays with family and friends. I have also been preparing my home assignment schedule for 2025.
Teleios Chirstian School closed on December 6, 2024. All Teleios Christian School 9th graders have successfully graduated to their new schools. Three are going to new senior phase schools to finish their 10-12th grade and one is going to a trade school. I praise the Lord for His provision for these students. Thank you for your generous donations. The 9th grade class was the first class to be given tables to use to do their schoolwork. Their classroom was repainted, and they were each given a gift voucher to purchase stationery for the school year 2025.
Grade 9 Learners before(2022) after(2024)
At Christmas time we reflect on God coming in the flesh to be with us, Emmanuel, who was born in Bethlehem. God has given me such peace in knowing that He is there with these young people. All the words, work and prayers over their lives that the Teleios Staff and I have said and done on their behalf was God-appointed for these students. I know that I will be forever changed. Glory be to God that He is always teaching us and growing us to be more like Jesus.
Friend, family, and ministry partners, once again I ask you to please invite me to your churches so that I can tell you about the ministry in South Africa. We can pray for all that the Lord is doing and will do in Qonce and surrounding villages when I return in 2026. We can also talk about Short-Term Mission Trips. I hope to see you at your region gatherings, the 2025 Biennial Mission Summit, your Bible studies (in-person or on Zoom), or your Sunday morning worship services. Please let me know by contacting me by email. I hope to see as many of you as I can in 2025.
