The MoveOn January 30th, bright and early at 3am, we started our journey to the airport and Oaxaca. Thank you to our church friends who drove us and all of our belongings. It was a long day of travel. Nora did pretty well besides one tantrum on the plane which I prayed everyone had noise cancelling headphones on. We arrived safely and exhausted. All of our bags arrived which seems to be a miracle these days. After we came out of immigration and customs we were greeted with big smiles and hugs from two couples of COBAMI. ______________________________

¡Bienvenidos a Oaxaca! We’re currently staying at a host family’s home, which is a family of one of the pastors while we look for housing (first picture is the beautiful view). Our temporary apartment was stocked with some groceries (see second picture) upon arrival. It was extremely kind and thoughtful of them. We definitely felt the warm Oaxacan welcome. Also, they purchased cute little cereals from home. So sweet! About every morning we were given a bag of fresh sweet bread and churro (see third picture is of Nora having her first churro). It has been great getting to know our partners around the table and sharing a meal together. They have been extremely helpful in getting us adapted to life here. We pray to find a place soon so we can unpack our suitcases and begin making a home here. ______________________________
