DescriptionEnduring Love focuses on identifying, training, and supporting Arab Christians from seven countries, equipping them to share Christ in their own communities. The Endowment Fund provides resources for the long-term sustained operations of Enduring Love, which was birthed amid the rise of the Arab Spring in 2013 and as International Ministries entered its third century of mission in 2014. Daniel and Sarah Chetti were the first appointed IM Global Servants to the Arab World in 1998. While teaching at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Beirut, God moved Dan’s heart to embrace a greater vision for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The Enduring Love ministry grew out of a conviction that the most effective witness to the Arab world would come from Arab believers themselves, people who belong to the communities they serve, speak their languages, and carry their history in their own families. The name matters. In Arabic, endurance is the quality that allows a tree to grow in difficult soil. It is the decision not to go somewhere easier. The mission of Enduring Love is to show Jesus to people in MENA, sharing his saving love, discipling, and establishing communities that will be rooted and sustained. This is best done by those who know the language, culture, and environment where they serve. The love and compassion of Jesus are transforming hearts across the region. Enduring Love shares that love through words and deeds in Arab communities, raising up local leaders who can guide their people in living out the Gospel, promoting peace, and working for the common good of their societies. Following Dan’s retirement as a Global Servant in March 2026, Enduring Love continues as an IM program led by an Oversight Committee which includes Dan as Founder. International Ministries celebrates that Enduring Love is a vital part of its mission and ministry in MENA.
