Dear Friends,

As we prepare our hearts for Easter, we are reminded once again of the deep, sacrificial love of Christ—the love that reaches out to the lonely, the struggling, and the forgotten. This past week, Larry traveled to Serbia, carrying with him the compassion and generosity that you have made possible.

Thanks to your faithful support, he was able to purchase vouchers for food and hygiene products, ensuring that families could celebrate Easter with dignity. He also helped cover firewood and electric bills for those who would otherwise have spent these cold days in the dark. Medical supplies were provided for those in urgent need, offering relief to bodies that bear the weight of hardship.

Before distributing the aid, Larry asked our ministry partner, Pastor Zoltán, “How many people do you think we can help with these funds?” Zoltán’s response was simple yet profound: “200 souls.” Not just people—souls. Each person seen and valued. Each life precious to God.

But beyond these tangible gifts, perhaps the most important part of this journey was the time spent with dear, lonely souls—men and women who are often unseen by the world but never forgotten by God. Sitting with them, listening to their stories, and simply being present is a reminder that ministry is not just about what we give but about who we are in Christ’s love.

Henri Nouwen once said, “We have to keep asking ourselves whether our own giving is a response to the divine call or an attempt to impress others or control them.” True generosity flows from relationship—from knowing that we belong to one another in Christ. Your partnership in this ministry is not just financial; it is a joining of hearts and hands in God’s work.

Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for loving the poor and the lonely through your prayers, your encouragement, and your giving. This Easter, may we all be reminded that Christ is risen indeed, and because He lives, hope is never lost.

With gratitude,

Larry and Becky
