I am blessed by International Ministries’ (IM) mission to support global servants and the communities with which they partner through the World Mission Offering (WMO). I had the privilege of working as the Development Communications Specialist from 2000-2002 for IM, developing the offering materials for the WMO. The opportunity enabled me to share the stories of our Global Servants with our American Baptist family, encouraging our Baptist family to support world mission in a variety of ways. In 2001, I was given the opportunity to travel to South Africa to visit our Baptist partners in that country; it was a trip that changed my life. What a joy it is to be in communion with our Baptist partners all around the world!

God has blessed my ministry and family to impact the world with love. One of my favorite quotes is: “It’s easy to love anyone, once you know their story.” (anonymous) In this world that seems to get smaller and smaller with each passing year, International Ministries continues to help us get to know one another for increased understanding and collaboration under the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
