Cloud of Witnesses: A journal series spotlighting the impact of those who have gone before us

While each person’s story is unique, there is a common thread—their lives were impacted by someone serving in God’s mission with IM.

As a way to honor International Ministries’ rich history and celebrate its 210th anniversary, IM Area Director for East and South Asia Ben Chan, highlights the stories of people whose lives have been impacted by the work of IM throughout history. Throughout the journal articles, you’ll find stories from church leaders, mission mobilizers, global servants, consultants, and directors serving in God’s mission.

While each person’s story is unique, there is a common thread—their lives were impacted by someone serving in God’s mission with IM. Whether it was American Baptist missionaries who led his family to Christ in the 1930s like David KH Wong, now a special assistant for IM (read more in the March 13th journal), or missionaries who inspired John Augustine Dorapalli in the 1950s to pursue theological education (read more in the February 22nd article), the faithfulness of IM global servants have rippled through lives, making an impact for Christ today!

You’ll find encouragement and be in awe of what God has done over the years as you read Ben’s articles about the “cloud of witnesses” whose faithfulness to God’s mission is seen throughout generations.
