Cangfu Wang equipped to join theological education ministry in China

I am very happy to share with you that Cangfu Wang has graduated from the Claremont School of Theology, and is well equipped to join the theological education ministry in China. Dr. Wang also receives the 2022 President’s Award for Academic Excellence as a Doctor of Philosophy Graduate. Cangfu was selected by the China Christian Council and Three Self Patriotic Movement to pursue advance theological education to help the doctoral theological degree program to train church leaders, seminary teachers and scholars. International Ministries is honored to join the Foundation for Theological Education in South East Asia and other members to sponsor Cangfu’s study in the US. Cangfu shares his passion to use his research in the area of Religion, Ethics, and Society towards the development of theological thinking which is relevant to the current social and cultural context of China. Rev. Dr. Manhong Lin shares, “We are very thankful for the support of longtime friends in the US. We are assisting Dr. Wang to go through the process of ministry assignment, and he will be a blessing to our effort of promoting advance theological education in China.” Dr Lin is the Associate General Secretary of the China Christian Council, and the Academic Dean and Associate Professor of the Nanjing Union Theological Seminary.
