Ruth Vindas
RUTH’s ministry in Costa Rica as an international associate global servant focuses on theological education. She is a faculty member of the Latin American Biblical University, a seminary founded in 1923 that prepares pastors and leaders to serve churches throughout Latin America and in various institutions that do community work. Ruth teaches courses in Christian education, practical theology, pastoral accompaniment and specific pastoral ministries. She is a campus chaplain to the students and facilitates workshops for women on gender issues. As a member of the coordinating team, she assists with the Talita Cumi Girls’ Club program. Ruth earned a master’s degree at the National University of Costa Rica in human rights and peace. She is married with four children and two grandchildren.
