Christine Lafferty

CHRISTY serves in Nicaragua as a part of AMOS Health and Hope. AMOS uses an empowering approach, following Christ’s example of listening to and healing the most vulnerable populations. AMOS engages communities as full partners by training local leaders as community health promoters and providing preventive and curative health services to rural communities with barriers to health care. Christy facilitates short-term mission opportunities, engages churches as partners in long-term ministry and shares stories of lives being saved and transformed in Nicaragua. She lives in Managua with her husband and son and is working towards a master’s degree in theological studies through Palmer Theological Seminary with an anticipated graduation date of August 2024.
