Marci Carvalho

MARCI is an international associate global servant with International Ministries and JAMI, the mission agency of the National Baptist Convention (CBN) in Brazil. Serving in Malaga, Spain, Marci uses her extensive cross-cultural experiences from England and Morocco to minister in a country where less than 2% are evangelical Christians and many are atheists or agnostics. She has co-founded two nonprofits, Corazon Amigo (Friendly Hearts) and Puente de Confianza (Bridge of Trust). These organizations provide literacy classes in English and Spanish, cooking classes, and other activities to local children and adults, immigrants, and displaced people. Marci earned a degree in literature and Portuguese/English from UNICAP and has also completed mission and theology training.
