A team of seven individuals named “The Lion Chasers” from Rye (CO) was originally heading to Kukra Hill in Nicaragua earlier in June, to continue to support a sister congregation. Plans changed and the team headed to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, to work along side two global servants, Rev. Vital & Kelly Pierre. Three teenagers and four adults built new relationships in a new country, with old friends they had accompanied years ago in Nicaragua. Their hearts were made anew as they spread God’s love all around the community. The congregation of Boca Chica received unconditional love and in turn they lavished their visitors with joy, smiles, dancing and prayers.
