The Short-Term Mission team is sponsoring a 5K Walk/Run Moving for Mission at the World Mission Conference. It is scheduled for Friday July 6th at 7:30am at Green Lake. Have you downloaded the sponsor sheet yet? https://internationalministries.org/world-mission-conference/  As you get sponsors and collect checks and/or cash, you will have an opportunity to share about the conference, global missions and letting friends, co-workers, family members, classmates know about short-term mission opportunities and your desire to serve or support a young adult.

We thank all walkers and runners who are gathering pledges and will join the Short-Term Mission team that morning. For anyone interested in doing a shorter walk/run, there is a shorter 2K route along the lake. Every step you pledge to take will support a youth and/or young adult interested in a mission trip.

When you turn in your sponsor sheet at the Registration table in front of Pillsbury Hall on July 6th between 7am – 7:30am, we will have a very limited number of special T-Shirts to hand out to:

• first time walkers/runners
• walkers/runners with pledges from people living outside the US and its territories
• a youth or young adult who has gone on a mission trip this past June 2018                                                                                Thank you for supporting the youth and young adults who want to serve in cross cultural settings in short-term missions, alongside many of our global servants.
