The new school year has begun, and with it comes a fresh season of ministry and learning for our whole family.
Ruth and Maggie have returned to their high school in Budapest. This week, Larry is with them for parent–teacher conferences, encouraging them as they dive into another year of studies. Later this month, during the last week of September, he will also travel to Serbia to reconnect with our ministry partners and prepare for the projects ahead.
Here in Téglás, Brandy and I are back in the classroom. The opening ceremonies at our schools reminded us again how grateful we are to be part of this community. I’ll be sharing a few photos from the celebrations—and one especially cute picture of Brandy all dressed up for her first day!
As we begin a new school year, we are reminded that God continues to open doors for us to serve, to learn, and to grow together with our students and partners in Hungary and Serbia. Thank you for standing with us in prayer and support—it makes this work possible.
Every fall, American Baptist Churches take part in the World Mission Offering, a special opportunity to support global ministry. Many times, this offering is how we are able to reach 100% of our needed support. If your church is participating this year, please consider directing all or part of your World Mission Offering toward our ministry in Hungary and Serbia. Together, we can continue to share Christ’s love in both word and deed.
