The memory of my journey with International Ministries (IM, also known as ABFMS) begins in October 2018. I met Pastor Ivy Wu and Emerson Wu through Pastor Ben Chan. They came to our Saigon Street Park Ministry where it all began.

During the most difficult time of the pandemic in Hong Kong, we were blessed by IM providing COVID relief supplies of masks and food for 350 grassroots families, new immigrants and ethnic minorities. Through this blessing, God is providing us the opportunity to reach out to a group of marginalized ethnic minorities, especially asylum seekers and refugees in Jordan and Yaumatei areas in Hong Kong.

From 2021 to 2024, Pastor Ben has provided a theological scholarship through IM for my further seminary education. I was able to focus on more practical theology and get to know a group of shepherds who act as a figure of light in the church and enlighten their flocks in the darkness. I was also blessed by IM with a Palmer Trust Grant and encouraged to start our church, New Life Church Hong Kong, and also to start a children’s sports group dedicated to ministering to my flock. This is having a great impact on the children and many single moms who are finding not only a church but their HOME in Christ as a result.

This is an absolute blessing of God’s grace through IM. May God continue to use the servants of IM to sow more seeds in the nations and train more servants for God’s service.
