Pray for Manipur, NE India

Please pray for the people in Manipur State, NE India, especially Kuki families and churches in NE India, for a riot broke out on May 4. Mobs were setting fire to Kuki villages. International Ministries’ partners the Council of Baptist Churches in North East India (CBCNEI), the Manipur Baptist Churches, and the Kuki Baptist Convention have been spreading the news and mobilized their churches to help victims to move to safe areas, despite the difficult of roadblocks and danger. On May 5, CBCNEI issued a Manipur Peace Appeal condemning “the recent acts of lawlessness and violence… and appeal to all the people in Manipur to refrain from any action that would cause even more suffering to the people…” (See enclosed entire Appeal).
