Yesterday we held the dedication of our new building for ministry to homeless children. The night before, thirty teachers and counselors who have been working with the children held an all-night prayer vigil in front of the building.  Even two of the children who have been reintegrated into their homes joined them for the vigil.

That next day during the official ribbon-cutting with ~300 in attendance (HEAL Africa staff, teachers, representatives of UN agencies and NGOs who work with vulnerable children, government officials, etc.) the two children, Elisha and Aganze, gave touching testimonies about their ordeals and thankfulness to be home once again.

We have been working hard to get everything together to transition our Saturday morning program to a full-time ministry: budgets, procedures, staff recruitment and hiring and now we are set to begin.   God is good … all the time!
