Comfortable, casual clothes, and shoes for playing outside and hiking.
8. How do I know my child/grandchild will be safe?
International Ministries vets each adult by running a background check as required by our insurance company. We only work with adults who are known and recommended by other American Baptists. We follow state recommended guidelines on the ratio of adults to children based on their ages. We also have a “floater” who can step in assist at any time.
9. How will I know what is happening in the children’s program?
Schedules will be available at registration. The program includes introducing children to missions through a variety of activities. Missionaries will visit the programs sharing things of interest to the children specific to their age. There will be field trips to locations on the property such as seeing J.L. Kraft’s collection of fluorescent rocks or visiting Chapel Car Grace. Each program has age-appropriate games, crafts and activities.
