Thank you for keeping the lessons going!
On March 13, our school went fully digital, as mandated by the Hungarian government. The teachers spent two days in meetings, trying to keep our distance and learn how to put our life’s work on the internet! It was actually an interesting experience.
Of course, this is not the ideal way to teach, but we’re doing the best we can. And I’ve been able to do that, with your help, being a constant online presence with my students and their parents through this crisis.
You can watch one of my video lessons for my younger students: https://youtu.be/fkirMKRRZhk
Our girls have been diligently working through their lessons, too!
Every day, the girls access their lessons. Sometimes they work in their books (yes, we brought each girl’s stack of Hungarian schoolbooks—we’ll have lots of room in the suitcases going back to Hungary in August!), sometimes they watch YouTube videos, and other times they chat with teachers and classmates.
Even their piano, art, and dance lessons are online.
Please continue your prayers for us. School finishes June 15. Pray that we close out the year well and are able to return to Hungary in August.
Once again, thank you for your interest and support!
